Sanford Health, one of the largest and fastest-growing not-for-profit health systems in the United States, is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join their team in Jamestown, North Dakota. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a shared concept model, seeing 25-35 patients per day, while contributing to a broad range of services and specialties. The physician will be an integral part of the Sanford Family, dedicated to health and healing.
Practice Info
- Practice in Jamestown, North Dakota
- Share call in the community hospital with other family medicine providers
- Current practice includes: 11 family medicine physicians, 2 APPs, 1 occupational medicine APP, 1 surgeon, 1 surgical APP, 1 audiologist and 2 psychologists
- Other services offered at clinic: Physical Therapy, 3D Mammograms, Ultrasounds, Dexa Scans
- Enjoy a shared practice concept
- Individually can see 25-35 patients/day
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Admit (if applicable to the setting)
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illness, diseases and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, and genitourinary systems

Shift & Schedule
- Physician would share call in the community hospital with other family med providers
- Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
Requirements
- No visa sponsorship available
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
