Internal Medicine Physician

An Internal Medicine physician is needed for a locum tenens assignment starting at the end of October for three months in North Carolina. The clinician will provide outpatient primary care services to a long-term adult patient population within a neurodevelopmental skilled nursing facility. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday on day shift hours with an on-site multidisciplinary support team.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care services to a long-term adult patient population
• Conduct patient evaluations
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions throughout each assigned shift
• Work collaboratively with an on-site multidisciplinary support team that includes RN, LVN, MD, and behavioral health staff

• Dates needed: End of October - 3 months
• Shift type: Day Shift

• Call required: Negotiable
• Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during day shift hours
• Call coverage is negotiable and will be determined in coordination with facility leadership
