Internal Medicine Physician

Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to join their team in Fargo, ND. This role involves providing comprehensive medical care to adolescent and adult patients, encompassing examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitative services for a wide range of internal organ system conditions. • Sanford Clinic has an opening for an Internal Medicine Physician to provide medical care to patients of Fargo, ND and the surrounding area.
• Outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients.
• Perform examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitative services, particularly as pertaining to organic and congenital diseases of the human internal organ systems.
• Perform history and physical examinations.
• Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illness, diseases and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, and genitourinary systems.

Requirements

• Medical degree or foreign equivalent in Medicine.
• 36 month Internal Medicine residency.
• North Dakota state medical license or ability to obtain.
• BC/BE.
• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
• Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
• If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training unless waived.
