DUTIES (Teaching & Educational Leadership)
- Faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track
- Supervise Internal Medicine residents
- Clinical teaching in Primary care, Population health, Value-based care, Health equity-focused practice
- Teach residents to integrate in social determinants of health, community-engaged care approaches, equity-centered clinical decision making
- Participate in journal clubs, lecture series, case conferences, resident workshop
- Mentor residents in quality improvement initiatives, health equity research, scholarly activities/projects
- Collaborate with residency and program leadership to develop and improve curriculum
- Provide formative and summative feedback to residents to support professional growth

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Active TX Medical License or willing to obtain
- At least one professional reference within the last 24 months
- Experience in medical education, health equity, population health, or value-based care (highly preferred)
- Completion of an ACGME or AMA-approved residency program
