Internal Medicine Physician Äì Health Equity & Value-Based Care Faculty Dallas, TX Position Type: Full-TimePractice Overview Join an innovative Value-Based Care Clinic combining outpatient Internal Medicine with academic faculty responsibilities. Serve as core faculty for an Internal Medicine Health Equity Track. Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care for complex adult patients. Supervise and teach Internal Medicine residents in a clinic-based learning environment. Provide education in primary care, population health, value-based care, and health equity. Mentor residents in quality improvement, health equity research, and scholarly projects. Participate in journal clubs, lectures, case conferences, and resident workshops. Collaborate with residency leadership to develop and refine curriculum aligned with ACGME competencies. Utilize population health tools, risk stratification, and care coordination strategies to improve outcomes. Address social and non-medical drivers of health affecting patient care. Work alongside care managers, pharmacists, social workers, behavioral health specialists, and community partners. Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives. Collaborate with Graduate Medical Education teams in a large academic healthcare environment. No call. No weekend coverage.
