Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine physician to join their Primary Care division in Clovis, NM. This full-time opportunity involves providing comprehensive outpatient primary care services, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes patient-centered care within a supportive environment, offering a different way to make a difference in healthcare.
Practice Info
- Outpatient, primary care services
- Collaborative team including nurses, medical assistants, case and care managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacist clinicians, and clerical staff
- Patient volume averages 16 to 18 patients per day
- No call responsibility
- No inpatient responsibilities
- System-Wide EPIC EMR
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses
- Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen
- Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests
- Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies
- Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately
- Manage the provider/patient relationship
- Be involved in education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups
- Serve as a health care resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate
Compensation
- Salary guaranteed for 3 years with production & panel management incentives
- $75,000 sign on bonus

- Monday - Friday Schedule
- 36 hours of scheduled patient care and 4 hours of administrative time per week

Requirements
- BE/BC Internal Medicine trained physician
- MD/DO
- State of New Mexico Medical License
- DEA & NM Controlled Substance Registration
