Internal Medicine Physician

Primary Care Physician – Full-time

Location: Yonkers – Park Care site

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $237,182.40 - $269,755.20 per year

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for eligible external applicants (Terms and conditions apply).

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and developing health care services, treatment of conditions and illnesses within scope.
• Diagnose and provide treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate and supervise advanced provider clinicians.
• Complete and participate in chart review process.
• Referral and follow-up of patients when needed.
• Collaborate with other members of the Health Center to maintain high quality standards and achieve client satisfaction.
• Clinical Supervision: Oversee the clinical work of students or new providers, ensuring they adhere to best practices and organizational standards.
• Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to students or new providers, helping them develop their clinical skills and professional behavior.
• Educational Support: Facilitate educational sessions, workshops or seminars to enhance the learning experience of trainees.
• Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of students or new providers, provide constructive feedback and document progress.
• Patient Care: Ensure high-quality patient care while supervising and mentoring patients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with academic institutions and other healthcare professionals to coordinate educational activities and ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)
• Active/Valid license as an MD or DO in New York State, DEA, Board certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Experience in HIV care and Medication-Assisted Treatment (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient populations in community health setting.
