Overview:
Our internal medicine practice in Waldorf is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM, no weekends
• Full-time position
• Competitive salary: $110 000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed clinical assessments, including history taking and physical examinations, for adult internal medicine patients
• Formulate differential diagnoses and develop evidence-based care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Manage and prescribe medications in accordance with Maryland law and practice protocols
• Document all patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans in the EHR
• Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
• Coordinate follow-up care, including ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities and adherence to clinical guidelines

Qualifications:

• Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Maryland, or eligibility
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
