What You ll Do

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consultations and follow-up care.
• Oversee patient treatment plans and coordinate care with other providers.
• Manage new patient assessments and ongoing treatment reviews.
• Follow established protocols for outpatient oncology practices.
• Document patient interactions accurately within electronic health records.
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

What You Need

• 
  Required:
  
  • Active Medical License in Wisconsin or eligible to obtain one
  • Prior outpatient hematology or oncology experience
  • Strong communication and patient management skills
• 
  Preferred:
  
  • Experience in a tertiary care setting or with complex treatment oversight
  • Comfort with multidisciplinary team collaboration

This role is based at a leading healthcare facility in Antigo, Wisconsin, focusing on outpatient hematology and oncology care. The provider will primarily see new consults and follow-up patients, ensuring comprehensive treatment oversight without inpatient duties. There is no call, and inpatient work is referred to tertiary centers in Wausau.
