Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Internal Medicine trained Physician to join our established practice located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The provider cares for patients by providing outpatient, primary care services while leading and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. - Established practice located in Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Support from Patient Centered Medical Home team consisting of Clinical Pharmacists, Behavioral Health Clinicians, Care Managers, Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants along with Registered Nurses & Medical Assistants
- EMR: EPIC
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses
- Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen
- Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests
- Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies
- Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately
- Manage the provider/patient relationship
- Receive and resolve patient complaints
- Involved in education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups

Shift & Schedule
- Full time
- FTE: 1.00
- 16-20 patients per day
- Practice call in rotation with the group
- 34 patient contact hours with 6 administrative hours per week
Qualifications
- MD/DO
- Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine
- State of New Mexico Medical License, DEA & NM Controlled Substance Registration
