Internal Medicine Medical Director

Triangle Springs in Raleigh, NC, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Internal Medicine Medical Director for a part-time, contracted role. This position involves providing clinical oversight and leadership for internal medicine services, ensuring high standards of patient care, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities

• Provide medical supervision and oversight for the advanced practice providers (APPs) performing inpatient rounding
• Review and co-sign charts to ensure quality, accuracy, and appropriate follow-up of patient care
• Conduct routine in-person supervision (approximately 10 hours per week) on-site at Triangle Springs
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and clinical best practices
• Collaborate with psychiatric and clinical leadership to promote integrated, multidisciplinary patient care
• Participate in periodic performance evaluations and case reviews as needed

Shift & Schedule

• Contracted part-time role (approximately 10 hours per week)
