Internal Medicine - Clinician Educator

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join Mount Sinai Faculty Doctors & Ryan Health as a Clinician Educator on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. This role offers a unique opportunity to predominantly engage in teaching responsibilities for Icahn Mount Sinai Internal Medicine residents, with the option for direct patient care. The chosen candidate will contribute to a dynamic curriculum under the umbrella of the world-renowned Icahn School of Medicine.

• FQHC teaching practice
• Teaching site for Icahn Mount Sinai Internal Medicine residents
• Clinics located from Harlem to Chelsea
• Highly team-based care structure with residents paired with faculty preceptors, social work, and nursing
• Diverse and medically complex patient mix
• Outpatient only working with adult patients

Compensation

• Compensation range from $200,000 to $230,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
• The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits

Shift & Schedule

• Minimal nights and weekends

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Some Experience as a clinician-educator preferred
• Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
• A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
