Position Overview

Department: 01220 WFBMG Wake Forest Health Network: Kernersville Sports Complex - Internal Medicine

Status: Full time

Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8a-5p

Pay Range: $51.05 - $76.60

Education / Experience: Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program

License / Certification: Current applicable state Board of Nursing RN and NP license; Board certified in NP specialty

Essential Functions

• Use medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan.
• Collaborate with medical team when needed for effective team-based care.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures. Explain the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.
• Perform procedural skills per department or practice guidelines.
• Participate in basic science and clinical research projects.
• Precept students and/or medical learners.
• Uphold AHWFB missions, values, and cultural commitment.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Physical Requirements

Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching with arms, finger and hand dexterity, talking, hearing, seeing. Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 100 lbs. Maximum.
