Robert Half's client is seeking a senior-level IT Communications Manager to support a leading organization's IT team. This hands-on role will be responsible for developing executive, cybersecurity, technology, and change management communications that translate complex technical information into clear, actionable messaging for university-wide audiences.

What You'll Do

• Partner with IT leadership, cybersecurity teams, Service Desk teams, and technical stakeholders to develop and execute strategic communications.
• Draft executive-level communications including emails, announcements, presentations, talking points, leadership briefings, and organizational updates.
• Lead communications during cybersecurity incidents, system outages, and other critical technology events, providing timely status updates and stakeholder communications.
• Develop communication plans for technology launches, upgrades, maintenance notices, service changes, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Create audience-specific content including FAQs, web content, email campaigns, knowledge articles, and support communications.
• Manage and update website content, announcements, and service information to ensure accuracy, clarity, accessibility, and consistency.

What We're Looking For

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience supporting executive and leadership communications.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts, cybersecurity topics, and IT initiatives into clear business-friendly language.
• Experience developing content for websites, email communications, presentations, FAQs, and digital channels.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience collaborating with executives, technical teams, and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage competing deadlines independently.

Preferred Experience

• IT or technology communications experience.
• Drupal CMS experience.
• ServiceNow familiarity.
• Experience supporting change management, cybersecurity communications, or IT service communications.
