nProvide support to a select group within the CFO organization including Treasury, Asset Management, Corporate Planning, Investor Relations, M&A/Strategy, and Segment Finance. Potential assignments within the CFO rotational internship include:
nAssist in the development of financial models that forecast and evaluate financial performance of prospective organic investment projects, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate financings, tax considerations, and long-range corporate budgets
nAssist in the planning and execution of capital markets and financing transactions (debt, equity, equity-linked securities, and interest rate derivatives) including due diligence and pro forma financial analysis
nAssist in the execution of merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions (corporate and asset) including due diligence and pro forma financial analysis
nAssist in the development of presentations for internal (senior management, risk and other internal committees) and external use (investors, rating agencies, strategic partners)
nParticipate in meetings with internal and external partners
nPerform market, industry, and company specific research
nPerform additional duties as requested or assigned
nRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
nDemonstrable interest in finance and a desire to gain practical finance experience
nNo experience in energy or related industries is required
nUnderstanding of basic accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data
nExcellent quantitative skills
nExcellent verbal and written communication skills
nExcellent organizational and time management skills
nSolid working knowledge of and experience with MS Office applications especially Excel
nEducation Requirements
nMust be a student in pursuit of a bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics
nCandidates must have an anticipated graduation date of 2028 or 2029
nMust have a GPA of 3.3 or higher, either overall or within major
