Sworn Officer

The Sworn Officer positions will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all patrons attending athletic events hosted by the University of Louisville. This position will act as a deterrent for all crime and violence, while also providing on-site law enforcement, crowd control and traffic assistance when needed. This position will report directly to the Detail Commander.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide security and deter violence and crime at assigned athletic events.
• Arrest of on-site offenders as necessary.
• Direct flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic at assigned location.
• Ensure the safety and security of all patrons at assigned athletic events.
• Assist in emergency situations, including but not limited to medical and weather emergencies.
