Provides direct patient care in a 32-bed, stroke-certified unit with a focus on cardiac monitoring and care. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions while promoting patient and family-centered care, safety, and quality compliance. Collaborate with an interprofessional team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, addressing physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participating in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
- Assessing patient needs and barriers to involvement, ensuring communication across care continuum.
Qualifications and Skills:
- No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred.
- Strong communication, adaptability, team orientation, and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Open to ADN, BSN, and MSN candidates.
- Day shift with three 12-hour shifts.
