Avionics TechnicianThe Avionics Technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. This position will primarily support maintenance operations on Boeing 737-300 aircraft, while also providing avionics support across other fleet types as needed. While this position is dedicated to avionics systems, the technician may assist with general maintenance activities in support of overall operational efficiency when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform troubleshooting, repair, and installation of avionics and electrical systems, primarily on Boeing 737-300, occasionally on Metro SA227, Lear 60 as well as various other aircraftConduct operational and functional testing of avionics systems to ensure reliability and complianceInterpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance manualsRepair or replace defective components and wiring using approved methodsOperate and maintain avionics test equipment and diagnostic toolsEnsure all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations and company proceduresAccurately complete maintenance logs and documentationProvide support with standard A&P maintenance tasks as neededSupport company safety programs including FOD and tool controlCollaborate with A&P mechanics and other maintenance personnelWork outdoors and in varying weather conditions as requiredOther duties as assignedQualificationsA&P License requiredStrong avionics troubleshooting experience requiredBoeing aircraft experience is strongly preferredAbility to read and interpret schematics and technical manualsFamiliarity with FAA maintenance and documentation requirementsBe able to secure and maintain appropriate airport authority badgingOwn a basic set of aircraft maintenance toolsMust be able to perform work requiring lifting, pushing or pulling objects in excess of 75 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraftMaintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordPassport and/or ability to obtain passport within 60 days of hireMust be at least 18 years of ageEligible to work in the United StatesBenefitsCompetitive compensation – commensurate with industry, experience, and base locationHealth/Dental/Vision Benefits with options for employee +/- dependents401K with company matchPTO accrualFamily-owned company with emphasis placed on work-life balanceFrequent training and growth opportunities
