Interim Vista Consultant

Vaco has partnered with a growing heavy civil construction company experiencing continued expansion across the Southwest. As a result, they are seeking an experienced Controller with deep Vista by Trimble expertise.

Job Title: Interim Controller

Location: Phoenix, AZ (On-Site)

Pay Rate: $75/hr

Project Duration: 3+ months (potential contract-to-hire)

Start Date: target early November

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the company's accounting and Controller functions while partnering directly with the CFO
• Serve as the internal Vista by Trimble subject matter expert and drive system optimization
• Train, mentor, and develop accounting team members on construction accounting best practices
• Oversee financial reporting, project accounting, job costing, and accounting operations
• Support process improvements and scalable financial controls for a growing $100M+ contractor

Qualifications:

• Controller or senior accounting leadership experience within construction environments
• Advanced expertise with Vista by Trimble
• Strong construction accounting, job costing, and project accounting experience
• Demonstrated success training and developing accounting professionals
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Phoenix, Arizona
