Position Title
Interim Supply Chain Planning Manager
About the Role
The Interim Supply Chain Planning Manager owns North America demand and supply planning and serves as a strategic leader in the S&OP process. This role sets the direction for forecasting at the SKU, customer, and channel level, turning business intelligence and demand signals from sales, marketing, and other sources into a single, trusted view of demand, then turning that demand into supply plans that balance service, inventory, and cost.
This leader connects demand to its financial impact, shapes executive decision-making, and builds the processes, tools, and team capabilities needed to scale planning as the business grows.
Success in this role means a forecast the business trusts, supply plans that keep product in stock without excess inventory, an S&OP process that drives real decisions, and a planning team set up to scale.

- Deliver rolling item-level demand forecasts based on product and customer performance.
- Use syndicated and POS data to spot trends in consumption, distribution, and product mix, and build scenarios that flag risks and opportunities.
- Own forecast accuracy and bias KPIs, diagnosing misses and leading root-cause fixes.

- Lead the demand and supply reviews and the monthly planning meeting, presenting key drivers and trade-offs to senior leadership and aligning teams on follow-ups.
- Partner with customer teams so promotions, launches, and events are reflected in the plan.
- Define how sales and demand planning work together so inputs come in accurately and on time.
Supply Planning
- Translate the demand forecast into supply and replenishment plans, partnering with procurement, suppliers, and logistics.
- Set inventory targets and safety stock policies by SKU and channel, balancing service levels, working capital, and obsolescence risk.
- Monitor supplier capacity, lead times, and constraints, flagging gaps early and building mitigation plans.
- Lead inventory allocation during constrained supply, balancing customer priorities, service levels, and financial outcomes.
Financial Impact and Reporting
- Translate volume and sell-out shifts into GSV impact, delivering weekly latest-view (LV) reporting against monthly and forward-month targets in partnership with Finance.
- Share forecasts with customers at the level of detail they need, along with documented assumptions.
- Report on inventory health and its working capital impact alongside the demand view.
Process, Tools and People
- Build product performance tools and dashboards, and lead the rollout of new planning systems and processes.
- Coach and develop planners and analysts as the function grows.
- Lead strategic projects that help the supply chain organization scale.
