Interim Perioperative Services Director — Klickitat Valley Health, Goldendale

Full Time | 4 Day Work Week | No Call. Interim and Permanent Compensation Available.

What You Will Do

• Oversee perioperative services across the full continuum of care.
• Support surgery clinic operations alongside OR leadership.
• Ensure efficient scheduling and optimal use of staff and resources.
• Partner with surgeons, anesthesia, and clinical teams.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, quality, and patient safety standards.
• Lead and support staff across pre-op, OR, PACU, and sterile processing.
• Use data and analytics to improve workflow and performance.
• Step in as a hands-on leader when needed.

What You Will Bring

• Strong perioperative leadership experience across the surgical continuum.
• Experience in rural or Critical Access Hospital settings preferred.
• Background supporting both OR and clinic operations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, billing, and coding.
• Ability to lead through change with clarity and confidence.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse required.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum ten years of nursing experience with at least five years in the operating room.
• Leadership experience in a surgical services environment.
