Our team at BrainWorks is actively working to fill an urgent Interim FP&A Manager with a focus on Capital Planning & Budgeting for a Best-in-Class infrastructure development company focused in the data center industry. This role is needed to support the team during an upcoming employee leave.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Updating and maintaining the capital plan/budget for a $1B+ budget
- Working with various internal stakeholders/BUs to coordinate monthly/quarterly capital planning initiatives and budget reviews
- Maintaining the budget across multiple cost categories related to 25+ active construction/development projects
- Reconciling quarter over quarter budget variances and working with department leaders on budget v. actual variance analysis
- Creating presentation materials, including PowerPoint, directly for executives and the BOD
Must Have Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive finance experience
- 2+ years of experience creating executive/board level presentations using both Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience owning a Capital Planning budget of $500M+
- Cross-functional experience working directly with department leaders to coordinate capital planning budgets & analysis
- Advanced Excel skills including SumIF, Indexing, X Lookups, Pivot Tables, and creating executive level reports to be presented to the BOD
Preferred Experience:
- MBA or CPA
- Experience in Construction, Infrastructure, or Real Estate Development
- Experience with MS Business Central and/or Smartsheet
- Experience working with Data Center development
