Interim Controller

LHH is supporting a wonderful client in the media space who is seeking an Interim Controller to join their team on a 3-month+ contract basis. This opportunity will be on a hybrid basis in Manhattan, NY. Prior media industry experience is a plus and a CPA is required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month end close processes and be hands on with all close activities
• Manage cash flow modeling
• Manage intercompany reconciliations
• Contribute to process improvement
• Ad hoc reporting
• Assist with audit prep
• Strong experience with mentoring and developing employees

Qualifications:

• CPA is required
• Prior media industry experience is a plus
• 8+ years of experience preferred
• Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups
• Experience utilizing AI for automation and process improvement
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation: $65/hr - $90/hr, depending on experience.
