Tatum by Randstad is working with a company in the defense & space manufacturing industry that is in need of an interim controller to take on a 3-6 month contract opportunity. There could be potential for contract to hire. The client is onsite 5 days a week and prior experience heading up the accounting function in a public company is required. review monthly reconciliations and journal entries; and prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements Ensure the accounting department is GAAP compliant and SOX documentation Manage fixed asset accounting Serve as the main point of contact for the external auditors Responsible for cash flow analysis; manage the payroll function; inventory accounting; and transactional accounting (a/p and cash apps) Work with cross functional teams on monthly/quarterly reporting projects
Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required
CPA or MBA is desired
