nPosition Summary
nAre you passionate about helping children and families overcome behavioral health challenges?
nJoin our team as a Community-Based Behavioral Health Specialist and provide meaningful, in-home support to youth and families in their communities.
nThis role provides intensive, community-based behavioral health services focused on stabilization, skill development, crisis prevention, and strengthening family functioning. You will work directly with children and caregivers to build skills, support treatment goals, and help families navigate challenging situations.
nCompensation: $45,000–$50,000 annually, plus a $5,000 vehicle maintenance allowance.
nKey Responsibilities
nProvide in-home behavioral and emotional support services to children and families.
nHelp families implement individualized treatment plans and develop strategies to support positive outcomes.
nProvide crisis prevention, intervention, and stabilization support when needed.
nTeach and reinforce coping skills, communication techniques, and behavioral management strategies.
nCollaborate with clinical teams, schools, and community providers to coordinate care and support client needs.
nMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
nQualifications
nBachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
nExperience working with children, adolescents, and families facing behavioral health challenges.
nExperience supporting high-risk youth and families in community-based settings preferred.
nStrong crisis management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
nAbility to build trusting relationships with children, caregivers, and community partners.
nTo be eligible for this position, applicants must live in a county within the service area they will be supporting.
