Qualifications & Requirements
- Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
- Travel only; local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from the facility to be submitted.
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
- Experience: At least 24 months of ICU experience within the past 4 years; 24 months of role experience with some in the last 12 months.
- Experience with Epic is preferred.

- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
Unit & Role Details
- Unit: ICU with 4 beds; operates as a step-down unit; vent rarely used; common interventions include BiPAP, insulin drips, and occasional vasoactive medications (e.g., Cardizem, Levofed).
- Floating requirements: medsurgical/telemetry; occasional 1:5-6 patient ratio depending on acuity.
- Shift schedule preferences: Weekends as scheduled; maximum 7 days time off.
- References: 1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead) and 1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor) required for submission.
- Driver’s license required for submission.
