Patent Prosecution Associate - Organic Chemistry / Biochemistry

Our client is a top firm, seeking a midlevel patent prosecution associate in its Pharmaceutical practice for the New York or Boston offices. The salary range for this position is between $245,000 - $340,000.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of patent prosecution experience, including preparing and filing patent applications, conducting freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses.
• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline is required.
• Bar admission in New York or Massachusetts.
• USPTO admission required.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; team focused.
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
