This role offers immediatresponsibility, substantial client contact, and the opportunity to work closely with partners nationwide oncomplex IP and technology litigation.The attorney will handle federal court litigation, trade secret matters, trials, PTAB proceedings, ITC matters,and other complex disputes across multidisciplinary teams.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle litigation focused on patents, trade secrets, false advertising, unfair competition, and other IP rightsin federal courts and before the USITCDraft and respond to pleadings, motions, appellate briefs, and correspondence with counselWork with experts, including assisting in the preparation of reportsAssist with discovery in litigation, including document discovery, written discovery, and taking anddefending depositionsPrepare for and assist with jury trials, bench trials, and administrative hearingsPrepare for, assist in, and argue motion arguments, trials, and appellate arguments in state and federal trialand appellate courtsAssist with administrative hearings before the PTAB and ITCSupport dispute settlement strategies, including mediation and other types of dispute resolutionConduct and assist in PTAB proceedings and matters before the ITCConduct and manage legal research and writingRequirementsStrong academic credentials required4-7 years of litigation experience, specifically in patent and ITC cases4-6 years of complex litigation experience4-7 years of patent litigation experienceBackground in science or engineering highly preferredAdmission to the Patent Bar highly preferred
