- Close-knit and diverse integrative health team including Integrative Medicine Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, Psychotherapist, and Massage Therapists
- Outpatient setting; no inpatient or call responsibilities
- Fully integrated EPIC EMR across both clinic and hospital settings
Responsibilities
- Combine conventional medicine with integrative modalities to help patients achieve balance of mind, body, and spirit
- Provide integrative physician consults
- Coordinate treatment plans
- Partner across disciplines to guide patients on their individual wellness journeys
- Blend conventional and complementary therapies — including nutrition, mind-body practices, supplements, and lifestyle medicine — into personalized care plans
- Serve as a physician consultant for patients referred by Sutter colleagues or community providers seeking integrative approaches to complex or chronic conditions
- Support continuity and quality of care through timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Participate in community education, patient workshops, and wellness initiatives that advance whole-person health
Compensation
- $260,000 - $325,000 /Yr.

Shift & Schedule
- Full-time position, 0.8–1.0 FTE (flexible within that range)
Requirements
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency (family medicine, internal medicine, or specialty)
- Formal fellowship training (1–2 years) or certification in Integrative Medicine, Functional Medicine (IFM), or similar program (preferred)
- Experience incorporating complementary modalities such as acupuncture, nutrition, mind-body medicine, herbal medicine, mindfulness, or yoga therapy (preferred)
- Board Certification in Integrative Medicine through the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM) or completion of an approved fellowship highly preferred
- Demonstrated passion for whole-person care — mind, body, and spirit (preferred)
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team (preferred)
