Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Location: Irvine, California
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 52-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate : $113 - $122/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a temporary assignment in Irvine, California. These positions are 52-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP):
• Provide patient intake services and perform gastroenterology histories
• Assist with prescriptions, evaluations, and referrals for adult patient population
• Interpret tests, procedures, and radiographic studies
• Apply Functional Medicine and Integrative Health principles in patient care delivery
• Train and work within the specialty of Integrative Gastroenterology
• See approximately 10-12 patients per day in a clinic setting
• Work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (8a-5p)
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain valid state licensure and board certification
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine and booster requirements (no exemptions)
• Comply with flu vaccine requirements (no exemptions)
• Collaborate with supporting MD and other APPs within the Integrative Health Institute
• Commit to a locums-to-permanent opportunity, including participation in a multi-stage interview process (2 virtual, 1 onsite)
• Maintain a minimum of 2 years of experience in Functional Medicine or Integrative Health
