Job Title: SAP Integration Project Manager – Techno-Functional
We are seeking a techno-functional SAP Integration Project Manager to lead interface-related workstreams within a broader enterprise transformation program. This role is ideal for someone who understands SAP S/4HANA from both a functional and technical integration perspective and can effectively communicate with business stakeholders to drive requirements, manage deliverables, and ensure alignment across teams.
This is not a hands-on development or deep technical architecture role. Instead, the successful candidate will act as a bridge between business and technical teams, managing interface-related projects and ensuring that data flows and business processes are well understood and supported.
Integration & Functional Leadership
- Lead interface-related workstreams between SAP S/4HANA and surrounding systems (finance, operations, CRM, analytics)
- Understand and articulate business processes and data flows across integrated platforms
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration specifications
- Ensure interface designs support business functionality and operational needs
Project Management
- Drive interface-related project planning, execution, and delivery
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
- Track milestones, manage risks, and escalate issues as needed
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business and IT teams on interface topics
- Communicate project status, decisions, and dependencies clearly and effectively
- Align technical integration efforts with business goals and priorities
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT, including 5+ years in SAP S/4HANA environments
- Strong understanding of SAP functional modules and business processes
- Experience managing SAP interface projects and integrations
- Ability to interpret technical designs and explain them in business terms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Oil & Gas or similar asset-intensive industry
- Familiarity with integration platforms (SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Boomi)
- Certifications in SAP, PMP, or TOGAF are a plus
