The Space and Intelligence Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high-priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to meet those needs. The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of the Space and Intelligence Division, focuses on outstanding support to our nation’s most important Intelligence Community customers.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing or assisting with the development of program and project integration solutions across the enterprise and determining integration/interface requirements. The role will work with systems engineers, solutions architects, and programmers to ensure applications and systems interoperate to deliver end-to-end mission solutions and maintain the integrity of the system-of-systems enterprise. The candidate will implement Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and other plans and operational procedures to ensure timely and efficient mission accomplishment.

  • Provide a total systems perspective, including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements among hardware and software components.
  • Support planning, implementation approaches, and documentation of solutions to total systems or subsystems using internally created or commercial off-the-shelf products.
  • Analyze, design, test, and evaluate network systems such as Cloud Resident computing capabilities, satellite networks, LANs, WANs, the Internet, intranets, and other data communications systems ranging from a connection between two offices in the same building to a globally distributed network of systems.
  • Support the planning and implementation of data management practices to treat and handle data as a resource.
  • Assist the government in managing system development efforts, moves, or modernization changes, including analysis, telecommunications, planning, cabling, IT and cloud requirements, network security measures, and other factors.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent experience as an Integration Engineer.
  • 5-10 years of experience, including at least 5 years working in the Intelligence Community.
  • Working experience in government or industry in database management or Big Data analysis.
  • Reports to Springfield, VA, up to full-time, based upon the needs of the customer.

Desired

  • Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
