Integration Solution Engineer/ArchitectRemote12 month Contract to HireSeeking an Integration Solution Engineer/Architect to join a highly visible and dynamic team with responsibilities to assess, plan, and deliver IT integration services to our customers. As a key member of this team, you will be a lead engineer/architect that helps drive the IT integration of newly acquired companies, minimizes business disruption, and ensures the company is maximizing the value of acquisition through integration. In this role, you will partner with Integration Engagement Managers and be responsible for understanding the business and technical requirements of the engagement. You will translate the business and technical requirements into solutions and level-of-effort estimates for implementing those solutions. You will be in a consultative role with the Business and Application/DevOps teams, anticipating their needs and applying the benefit of previous experience and expertise to the engagement. This position will lead the overall technical solution from definition to start of implementation while collaborating with other team members and departments to support solutioning, provide estimates, and build Statements of Work.Critical Competencies for Success:As an Integration Solution Engineer/Architect, you will communicate effectively and quickly gain the trust of the audience based on knowledge and expertise. Willingness to take control of a situation, see it through to resolution, escalating as needed the proper team, and going the extra mile when it may require working outside the box.Primary Responsibilities:Lead technologist for program, responsible for the technical success of each business partner integration programInfluence internal Infrastructure Teams to adapt services and processes to better meet integration requirementsPresent to Business/IT teams on infrastructure and hosting services and identify the benefits of hosting and/or integratingProvide thoughtful and innovative solutions to complex technical problemsConsider options, design, estimate and communicate solutions and recommendations that meet customer needs and are in alignment with business and IT goals / objectivesProvide input on RFPs/RFIs/SOWs and produce documentation such as high-level architecture diagrams to support recommended solutionsProvide reliable and trusted points of view of relatable customer integrations. For example, how other customers with similar needs have succeeded in their integrationsMaintain technical knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to security and architectural solutionsWork effectively in a diverse organization spread across multiple locationsIdeal Background:Broad IT experience, strong in merging two business IT solutions into one.Top Requirements:Networking will have a strong emphasis, but an overall Solutions Engineer (Macro) mindset would be a great asset!
