Your Impact
Business
- Understand client business domains and map business needs to API-based digital transformation opportunities
- Participate in discovery sessions to understand current-state challenges and solution options
- Provide practical integration solutions that are scalable, cost-effective, and easy to develop and operate
- Support architecture, provisioning, production readiness, estimation, and planning activities
- Contribute technical input to RFPs, solution proposals, and account planning as needed
- Design, implement, build, test, deploy, and support integration solutions across cloud and enterprise environments
- Build reusable templates, boilerplate code, and accelerators to enable faster delivery and predictable quality
- Define and apply integration engineering best practices, including performance testing, platform configuration, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Partner with architects and delivery teams to ensure integration solutions align with enterprise standards and client outcomes
- Support technology exploration and contribute to engineering knowledge-sharing through documentation, examples, and reusable patterns
Your Skills & Experience
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing integration solutions using microservices architecture and API-led patterns
- AWS experience, including practical experience building, deploying, or supporting cloud-based integration solutions
- API gateway experience, including designing, configuring, securing, and supporting APIs through an enterprise API gateway
- Experience with REST-based service design and implementation, preferably using Java/Spring Boot and/or Node.js
- Hands-on Java experience sufficient to build, deploy, troubleshoot, and support Java-based integration components
- Experience with integration patterns, service orchestration, API security, error handling, logging, and resiliency practices
- Ability to collaborate with client stakeholders, architects, product teams, and engineering teams in a delivery environment
Must-Have Development Lifecycle Skills
- Unit testing and integration testing
- CI/CD and DevOps practices; Terraform or infrastructure-as-code experience is a plus
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support for integration platforms and APIs
- Automation mindset with the ability to improve repeatability, quality, and operational efficiency
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience implementing integration patterns using MuleSoft or similar integration platforms
- Event-driven architecture experience using Kafka, MQ, or similar technologies
- Experience with AWS-native integration services and cloud integration tooling
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
- Experience with relational databases such as Db2, Oracle, or MySQL
