This role supports engineers in ensuring the successful integration of electronic systems within vehicles.Required Skills & QualificationsProficiency in using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, CATIA V5 (both 3D and 2D environments).Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.Interest and willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks.Willingness to work onsite at our Saline, Michigan office 5 days/week.Must be able to work up to 30% overtime.Prior work experience in the automotive industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience in vehicle-specific mechanical design/development.Experience with wiring or other electrical background.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesSupport engineers in the development and application of vehicle electronic components.Prepare and maintain technical documentation according to engineering instructions.Support electronic part packaging in the vehicle using CATIA V5 CAD, in both the 3D and 2D environments.Update wiring specifications and parts lists based on detailed instructions from responsible engineers.Prepare part orders for build events or evaluation activities.Assist engineers and technicians with re-flashing ECUs and other vehicle update activities.Create and submit drawing comparison reports for engineer review.Support the maintenance and audit of open issues lists according to engineering instructions.
