Key responsibilities Manage a team to settle total losses, prepare salvage vehicles, and coordinate rental reimbursements Recommend potential product developments and process improvements based on customer needs Establish infrastructure to detect and prevent violations of claims handling guidelines Required qualifications 3+ years of claims handling experience Strong technical comprehension of liability and casualty principles Ability to obtain and maintain insurance licenses in several states within three months Familiarity with claims best practices High sense of professionalism and empathy in customer interactions
