A law firm seeks an Insurance Fraud Litigation Attorney in Costa Mesa, California. The position offers remote work flexibility, allowing for a portion of the workweek to be conducted remotely. The successful candidate will manage insurance fraud claims and RICO actions, playing a pivotal role in civil recovery actions.
Duties
- Manage discovery in complex white-collar cases, including propounding and responding to discovery, and taking and defending depositions.
- Oversee a complex fraud litigation caseload and execute litigation strategies throughout all phases of the case.
- Develop and deliver arguments in complex insurance fraud matters.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, offering detailed analyses.
- Represent clients in all stages of litigation proceedings, such as hearings, motions, depositions, and mediations.
- Conduct comprehensive review and evaluation of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Membership in the California State Bar and in good standing.
- 4+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Experience formulating and developing case strategy, advising clients on risk mitigation and case resolution options.
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise common sense in complex situations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients, businesses, and legal teams.
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
Certifications
Membership in the California State Bar.
