Overview
A nationally recognized, full-service business law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join its growing New York City office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented litigator to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse litigation caseload, including general liability, premises liability, commercial disputes, construction defect, insurance defense, and civil matters.
- Handle all phases of discovery, including written discovery and depositions of parties and expert witnesses.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive legal documents.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality legal service delivery.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in New York (New Jersey bar admission is a plus).
- 2–5 years of litigation experience, preferably across a broad range of matters.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent client service.
- Experience in developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
