Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Handle personal injury cases from inception to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and court appearances.
  • Conduct legal research using tools like Westlaw to inform case strategy and filings.
  • Draft and review contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents.
  • Represent clients in State and Federal courts, including mediations, negotiations, and potential trials.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal teams to provide strategic legal advice and updates.
Qualifications:
  • JD from an accredited law school and active New York Bar admission (required).
  • 3-5 years of verifiable experience in personal injury and insurance defense litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools, especially Westlaw.
  • Strong writing, drafting, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
