INSURANCE DEFENSE ATTORNEY - MID LEVEL

Job Describtion:

• Insurance defense litigation in New Jersey and Pennsylvania
• Personal injury defense, coverage disputes, and liability matters
• Depositions, motion practice, and court appearances in NJ and PA courts
• Direct client representation of insurance companies and self-insured entities
• Coverage opinions and pre-litigation evaluations
• Handle insurance defense matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts
• Draft motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and coverage opinions
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trial in NJ and PA
• Manage caseload with increasing independence
• Communicate directly with insurance clients on case strategy and updates

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active New Jersey Bar license - MANDATORY
• Active Pennsylvania Bar license - MANDATORY (dual admission NJ and PA required)
• 3-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills
• Must be local to or able to commute to North Jersey - no relocation
