Insurance Defense Attorney

A well-regarded insurance defense law firm in Chicago, IL is seeking an Insurance Defense Litigator with 3-7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation for insurance defense matters, from filing through trial
• Handle depositions, motion practice, and courtroom appearances
• Represent insurer and corporate clients in general liability, casualty, and related defense matters
• Work directly with clients on case strategy and litigation planning

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of civil litigation experience, insurance defense strongly preferred
• Courtroom and deposition experience
• Strong writing and case management skills

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $180,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
