Insurance Coverage Attorney

I'm working with a highly regarded mid-sized law firm in New York City that's looking to add an Insurance Coverage Attorney to its growing team. This is a great opportunity to work on sophisticated coverage matters and disputes, advising and representing clients across a broad range of policies, including CGL, D&O, E&O, EPL, professional liability, commercial property & casualty, and more.

In this role, you'll:

• Research and analyze complex insurance coverage issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, coverage opinions, and other legal documents
• Work closely with clients, providing practical advice and regular updates
• Represent clients in litigation, negotiations, hearings, and other proceedings
• Stay current on developments in insurance law and emerging coverage issues

They're looking for someone with:

• 2–8 years of experience in insurance coverage and policy analysis
• A strong understanding of insurance policy interpretation and coverage disputes
• Admission to the NY and/or NJ Bar (PA admission is a plus)
• Litigation experience in both state and federal courts, from case inception through trial
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
