Location: Holmdel, NJ (Hybrid)
Compensation: $180,000–$220,000+ base salary, with flexibility for exceptional candidates
Experience: 2+ years
Billable Requirement: 1,850 hours annually
About the Opportunity
I’m partnering with a rapidly growing, insurance and litigation-focused law firm with five offices across New York and New Jersey to identify an Insurance Coverage Attorney for its Holmdel, NJ office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated coverage disputes and complex legal matters involving domestic and international insurance carriers, collaborate with experienced attorneys, and continue developing your expertise in a professional, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze insurance policies and evaluate coverage issues.
- Draft coverage opinions, coverage position letters, and related legal memoranda.
- Research complex insurance coverage questions and applicable case law.
- Assist with insurance coverage litigation and bad-faith matters.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- At least 2 years of relevant legal experience, ideally involving insurance coverage, insurance defense, or commercial litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively with a team.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 to $220,000. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
