Insurance Coverage Attorney (5+Years)

Lester Schwab Katz & Dwyer, LLP is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our growing Insurance Coverage Practice Group.

We are looking to add an eager attorney to our growing practice group, willing to take on meaningful responsibility while continuing to develop their expertise and build a long-term career with the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney to work in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Salary of $150,000 to $190,000, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance coverage litigation, including declaratory judgment actions from inception through resolution.
• Analyze complex coverage issues and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
• Draft comprehensive coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, disclaimer letters, and other coverage position correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings.
• Collaborate directly with partners on high-profile and complex coverage matters.
• Manage an active caseload while developing trusted relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York (required).
• Admission in New Jersey is a plus.
• 5+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters while working independently and collaboratively.
