This position provides instruction at the Milford Campus, delivering hands-on learning in classroom, lab, and online environments. The instructor is responsible for providing regular instruction, developing and updating courses taught in classroom, lab, online, and distance-learning environments, and may also teach in other locations, including the Prison Education Program (PEP).

Teaching assignments include, but are not limited to, National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for residential and commercial applications; programming and installation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs); industrial communications and electronics; robotics and integrated automation; and installation and maintenance of electric motors and motor starters. Beyond day-to-day instruction, this position will help grow and evolve the program by developing and updating curriculum, maintaining modern lab spaces and equipment, and implementing innovative teaching strategies for both high school and college students. Serving as a mentor and advisor to students, tracking their progress, and collaborating closely with the program team and SCC campus teams to ensure student success.

Work schedules (hours/days/work location) are scheduled by Southeast Community College based on the needs of the College. Work hours, shifts, days, and work locations may vary depending on the needs of Southeast Community College and are subject to modification.
