INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT TEACHER - ISS

Job Title

Full-time (1.0 FTE), 7-hour day, 10 month, school calendar position

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and provide professional development for educators through a blend of push-in and pull out staff development models.
• Promote a vision and share strategies to help educators create student-centered learning environments that are welcoming, affirming, and technology rich.
• Support districts and advocate for successful implementation and alignment of the NYS Learning Standards by helping districts with development of curriculum, instruction, and assessments.
• Implement instructional technology programs, selected as district models, supporting the best practices through the utilization of SAMR & TPACK.
• Adapt and create regional curriculum & resources with other Instructional Support Teachers.
• Support efforts to enhance collaboration, motivate and improve student outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators and other professional staff.
• Work collaboratively with other Instructional Support Services staff.
• Attend and facilitate district, regional, and state-level meetings and trainings as necessary.
• Assist districts with data analysis services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
