Key Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher, or successful completion of the WorkKeys test, or current substitute certification required
- Proven experience working within a school environment
- Adaptable mindset-flexibility to assist in classrooms when virtual SLP sessions are not occurring
- Must pass a fingerprinting/background check
- Support virtual SLPs by preparing students for their services at designated sites
- Serve as a facilitator ensuring smooth communication between students and virtual clinicians
- Step in to assist teachers in general classroom duties if students are not presently attending SLP sessions
- Foster a positive, supportive setting for students requiring speech services
- Effectively manage multiple responsibilities across different locations as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with educational guidelines at all times
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, following the academic calendar through late May
- Exposure to multi-disciplinary teams and professional development within a varied school environment
