Instructional Assistant-Special Education
Class Title: Instructional Assistant-Special Education Range: 32A Basic Function: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups of students with special needs in an assigned special or regular education classroom or program; monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; perform a variety of clerical and supportive duties related to classroom activities. Licenses and Other Requirements Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates. Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years experience in working with children in an organized setting or obtained an AA or higher degree.
