1:1 Aide Job Summary

Under the direction of a teacher and/or site administrator, the 1:1 Aide provides individualized support to a specific student to help them access instruction, participate in school activities, and achieve their educational goals. The aide assists with academic tasks, behavior support, communication, and daily routines while promoting student independence in a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment. The position works closely with teachers, support staff, and families to meet the unique needs of the assigned student.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass the Literacy Paraprofessional Exam. Experience working with children preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with students, staff, and families.
