The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include assisting classroom teachers in working with small groups or individual students in the reinforcement of instruction; development of learning materials to be utilized within the classroom; the supervision of cafeteria, hallways and other duties. The candidate must have a basic understanding of child growth and development.
An Act 34 Criminal History Clearance Report, an Act 151 Child Abuse History Clearance Report, and a FBI Fingerprint Clearance Report, succesful completion of a pre-employment drug screening are necessary, along with all other required employment forms. An Associates Degree or 48 college credits are required.
The salary for the school year is $20.92 per hour which is in accordance with the classified negotiated contract.
